Former NBC "Today" show financial editor and HerMoney cofounder Jean Chatzky has shared her preference for the Roth option, which involves people with higher incomes who contribute to Traditional IRAs and then convert them to Roth IRAs. Chatzkey warns against using tax-advantaged assets to pay taxes, which could cost you over 30% of every dollar. She also mentioned the potential impact on taxes increasing in the future on Roth IRas.
