Jose Soriano also struck out seven over six innings, marking Los Angeles' first road victory on Opening Day since April 2013. The win was the 405th career home run for Trout, who was making his club-record 14th Opening Day start in center field. Nolan Schanuel also homered and Jo Adell reached base four times with a single, a walk and a hit by a pitch and scored a run.
