San Jose man charged with fatally shooting wife at apartment, had criminal DV history

Alfonso C. Morales, a 54-year-old San Jose man, has been charged with murder for allegedly shooting his wife to death at their apartment. The shooting occurred on March 20 at an apartment on Don Seville Court, off Velasco Drive. Police found the woman, 35-year old Paris, with gunshot injuries. The circumstances of the shooting were not disclosed. Despite this, court records reveal that Morales has been the subject of five separate family violence prosecutions dating back to 2008.
