A man has been arrested after multiple fires were set inside the Ontario Mills mall, leading to an evacuation and the closure of the mall. Luis Javier Gallegos Jr., 28, of Rancho Cucamonga, was located inside a shop and did not comply with police during the encounter. The suspect was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center where he will be charged with an arson-related felony. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. Ontario police and fire crews responded to multiple fires burning in several locations throughout the property. No additional threats were found. Police are seeking any victims who may have been injured during the fire.
