Iran says it is reviewing a US ceasefire plan but no talks; Trump says Tehran leaders want a deal

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has stated that there have been no dialogue or negotiation with the US, but various messages had been exchanged through intermediaries. The 15-point U.S. proposal to end the conflict involves removing Iran's stocks of highly-enriched uranium, halting enrichment, curbing its ballistic missile programme, and cutting off funding for regional allies. The White House has threatened to escalate its strikes if Iran fails to understand that they have been defeated militarily. The conflict, which has caused the worst energy shock in history, has also spread beyond the region. The Israeli military completed a wide-scale wave of strikes targeting infrastructure in several areas across Iran.
