A 63-year-old woman, Beatrice Arellano, has been charged with assault after she allegedly pointed a gun at two village workers during a nearly seven-hour standoff in Colfax County, New Mexico. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. on Thursday and led to a lockdown at around 4.30am. The woman is now facing two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
