Boyfriend of woman found dead in her vehicle later shoots himself

The boyfriend of 47-year-old Lori Ann Perez was found dead with a gunshot wound inside her vehicle in west Phoenix, Arizona, on April 9. The incident occurred near 106th Avenue and Heatherbrae Drive. As detectives investigated, they discovered that the boyfriend, 46-year old Richard Benjamin Charles, may have been involved and lived in the area. As they entered the home, Charles shot himself as they attempted to serve a search warrant.
