As Big 12 continues attempt to innovate, Yormark wants honest feedback on new court... and he’s getting it

The Big 12's new LED glass court is receiving positive feedback from players and coaches across the Big 12. The feedback comes at the request of Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark, who emphasized the disruption in a positive way. Players and coaches from all over the league shared their opinions on the court during the opening round of the men's tournament. While some felt the floor was slippery at times and warm at others, others felt it was more comfortable playing on a different surface. While Baylor head coach Scott Drew acknowledged the difficulty of the court as an excuse for his team's loss, he acknowledged the importance of the innovation.
