The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for Saturday night for the Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon and Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon. Sub-freezing temperatures are expected to fall to 28 degrees, which could potentially kill crops, other sensitive vegetation, and potentially damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. The warning is issued from May to October, and can be extended if necessary.
