The first wave of updates is digital, with Volvo adding the Gemini AI assistant to cars from 2021 and newer equipped with the company's Android-based infotainment system, and giving drivers of plug-in hybrids more flexibility in drive modes. Other notable features include a new hands-free highway driving system for the Outback models. Other updates include Halloween costumes for owners' cars.
