Tucson teen sentenced in hit-and-run death of 75-year-old woman

Tucanian teenager, Alexis Eduardo Ibarra-Guerrero, has been sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison for the death of 75-year-old Sally Alcaraz Rodriguez in 2025. The accident occurred on Nov. 3 near Irvington Road and 12th Avenue and left Rodriguez's body in the street. IbarRA-Guerrrero, who did not have a driver's license, was not charged with causing Rodriguez's death but with leaving the scene. The judge ruled that Ibarrera-Guperrero was in the country illegally and drove several blocks with Rodriguez on his vehicle before she fell off or was pushed off.
