Toyota Files for $2 Billion Expansion of Texas Production Facility

The proposed expansion of the manufacturing facility, named 'Project Orca', is set to create 2,000 new jobs. The expansion is part of a wider effort by Toyota to boost its U.S. automobile manufacturing capacity. The proposed manufacturing facility would be located in Bexar County, Texas, with construction set to begin this year and begin operations a year later.
