Le Cirque, a French fine-dining restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip, is set to close after nearly three decades of operations. The restaurant, which opened in 1998, became synonymous with luxury dining on the Strip and has been home to many of the world's top chefs, sommeliers, and service professionals. The closure of Le Cirque highlights the shift in Las Vegas dining to become more about experience as much as dining. Despite being named among La Liste's 1,000 best restaurants in the world this year, the restaurant’s final service is expected to be August 23, 2026. Las Vegas has seen a steady stream of restaurant closures over the past two years due to shifting consumer habits, rising costs, and evolving tourism patterns. However, while these closures often attract attention, Las Vegas is constantly refreshing its dining scene with new concepts. Recent openings suggest the Strip is leaning towards globally recognized brands and high-energy concepts.
