The Sacramento Speakers Series is ending its season with actor, neuroscientist and mental health advocate Mayim Bialik. She will be speaking at the SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center in downtown Sacramento at 7:30pm on Wednesday. Bialick, known for her roles in "Blossom" and "The Big Bang Theory," discussed her unusual path from child actor to neuro scientist and how her journey influenced her thinking about identity, stress, and resilience. She also shared practical ways to manage anxiety, including staying grounded, understanding how the brain reacts to stress and having honest conversations about mental health.
