Disney's parent company, the parent company's second "Disney Week of Wishes" is aimed at making as many children's dreams come true as possible with the help of Make-A-Wish. Emerson Palasio, a 4-year-old local boy from the South Valley, was diagnosed with leukemia in February last year and has been battling the disease for over a year. For his bravery, he will be honored as an Avengers recruit and join forces with other children with critical illnesses in an interactive story at Disneyland. This will be his first family trip since his diagnosis, made possible by Make-a-Wishes and "Disney week of Wish".
