Marathon Makes Big Change To Tempt Casual Players Into Endgame Map

Marathon has released a new update, 1.0.6.2, aimed at attracting new gamers to the tough endgame game. The biggest change is a tweak to the item economy that allows all players to receive one free Cryo Archive Sponsored Kit per week. This removes a significant barrier for casual players, requiring their loadout to be worth at least 5,000 credits. The update also includes improvements to the WSTR Combat Shotgun, which slightly reduces the rate at which damage falls off. The game is now available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series consoles.
