McCarthy responded by saying it would be a "great story" if Rodgers returned to Pittsburgh for the 2026 season. The return of Rodgers, who helped the Steelers win the AFC North last season, could help the team adjust to McCarthy's system and the addition of wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr.
