No Longer Human, a specialty tea shop in Evanston, has opened its doors to the public and aims to create a more relaxing experience for customers. The shop combines traditional Asian, Japanese design with modern American influences, and was designed by Chicago-based architect Sam Sang Chai Park. The owner, Yaoyu Tong, also owns three other retail concepts in the Chicagoland area, including Five Elements Home, Passenger Paper, and Tokaido General Store. No LongER Human offers a wide selection of classic Japanese teas, from Sencha and Gyokuro to Matcha tea. It also offers a unique selection of unique types of tea.
