Mostly sunny and dry today, storms again by Wednesday

The weather will remain pleasant, with temperatures reaching the upper 70s to lower 80s under mostly sunny conditions, but there is a chance of isolated thunderstorms across East Texas. These storms are expected to develop along and north of the I-30 corridor, with some potentially becoming strong to severe. The Storm Prediction Center has placed a level of 2 out of 5 for severe weather over East Texas, and a First Alert Weather Day is in place. The weather will cool slightly during this unsettled period, but temperatures will gradually decrease throughout the week.
