Several casino-resorts in Primm, along with two gas stations and the Lotto Store, are set to permanently close, according to the company. The closure represents the end of an era for the town, which was once known as a popular destination for Southern Californians. However, experts say this changed when California expanded its own gaming options. Both gas stations are also expected to close, but it is unlikely they will remain dark for long. Some business owners, including Rihanna Rodarte, owners of Alex's Mexican Grill, have expressed concern about the potential for further closures. The closing of these properties is expected to occur on July 4.
