The "Save the Wild – Wildlife Rehab in the QC" group on Facebook has been instrumental in saving sick, injured and orphaned baby animals. The group, which includes licensed animal rehabber Brenda Moffitt, helps identify who to contact, handle a hurt animal, and raise money for rehabbers like Moffitt. Despite limited grants available for animal rehabbers, many rely on community support to help the animals. In the group's seven-year history, they have helped people outside of the Quad Cities Area and have been directed to the right resources near them.
