‘The Breadwinner’ Producer Cartoon Saloon Finds New CEO

Anthony Leo has been appointed as CEO of Irish-based Cartoon Saloon, replacing MD Gerry Shirren who retired at the end of 2025. Leo will oversee the strategic direction and growth of the company, alongside co-founders Tomm Moore, Nora Twomey and Paul Young, to guide its development across feature films, television series, and emerging platforms. The Oscar-nominated animated movie The Breadwinner was produced by Cartoon Saloons.
