Published on March 28, 2026.
Iranian drones have targeted Kuwait International Airport, causing significant damage to the airport's radar system and causing injuries to workers and passengers. This follows a drone attack on the Salalah port in Oman and a ballistic missile interception over Abu Dhabi. The country's Defense Ministry reported that a drone fell in Iraq's Majnoon oil field but did not explode. Meanwhile, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed that the attack targeted a US support vessel. The Iranian government also reported that 12 US soldiers were injured during the attack, with two of them in critical condition. The latest round of drone and missile attacks occurred over the weekend, targeting critical infrastructure in Kuwait, Oman, and the UAE, while also injuring US troops in Saudi Arabia.
