The Detroit Metro Airport has avoided major disruptions as of Saturday morning, with less than 15 delays reported at the airport. The Transportation Secrurity Administration wait times are also normal, with both McNamara and Evans terminals reporting wait times of less than ten minutes. Other major airports, like Atlanta and Houston, are still experiencing TSA wait times around four hours due to the government shutdown. The federal government has attempted to rectify the issue by sending Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers to the busiest airports, but this hasn't significantly impacted security. The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has experienced wait times over four hours in recent weeks.
