The router, priced at $87, includes two frequencies: 2.4 gigahertz (GHz) and 5 GHz, which offers a much faster connection but struggles to maintain strong signal through walls and furniture to far away devices. It adheres to the WiFi 7 standard, which only began to hit the U.S. market in 2023 and is better at managing lots of simultaneous device connections. The ArcherBE3600’s performance was consistent throughout my usage. However, for households with multiple roommates or a large family, consider an even more robust router like Netgear RS700S Nighthawk. The existing stock of existing routers and mesh networks will continue to be sold.
