Rare moment caught on camera as three tornadoes touch down in California

A rare burst of tornado activity occurred across California's Central Valley on Tuesday, dropping three twisters in quick succession. The unusual weather event occurred in Fresno County and Madera County as a powerful storm system swept through, causing heavy rain, gusty winds and hail. While the majority of these funnel clouds were spotted, only a handful made ground contact. The first twister was confirmed at 2:10 p.m. and later a stronger tornado formed with winds reaching up to 95 mph, earning an EF1 rating. The third tornado struck at 5:09 p.
