David Schwimmer, a former Friends star, has criticized Kanye West for not properly atoning for his years of antisemitic comments. He praised companies such as Pepsi, PayPal & Diageo for their decision not to platform West at the Wireless Festival, stating they chose to focus on one of the most recognizable hate-mongering bigots in the world. Schwimmer also questioned why artists such as Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Lauryn Hill, and Travis Scott supported West despite his history of anti-Semitism. He suggested that West should donate some of his Wireless Festival earnings to Jewish organizations in the UK and/or meet with Jewish leaders and artists to discuss his statements.
