A poll conducted by Brazilian company AtlasIntel suggests that Mexico's President, Claudia Sheinbaum, has her approval rating at 53.9%, down from 56% in February and 62.8% in January. The survey, conducted between March 20 and 24, surveyed 3,263 people in Mexico using an online polling method called “random digital recruitment.” The highest approval rating for Sheinba since she took office was 66.7% in October 2024 and 66.3% in April 2025. The president’s disapproval rating rose to 40.9% in March, up from 36.1%. This increase in respondents' concerns came despite the killing of Jalisco New Generation Cartel leader Nemesio Rubén “El Mencho” Oseguera in a military operation in Jalisco.
