Kyle Jury, a Los Gatos native, has built a new wine brand, TRUSS, in Paso Robles, California. His last name comes from his grandfather, Bill Jury, and his father, who founded Jury Development Company. Jury studied at Cal Poly and then transferred to the wine and viticulture track, earning a degree in agribusiness. He initially worked at Justin Winery before moving to Booker Winery in 2016, becoming a senior winemaker. He also met with Terry Hoage and his wife, Jennifer, who played for six NFL teams and later sold their property. In 2023, Jury met with two men who loved Booker wines and asked them to help them with a new vineyard in the Adelaida District called Bowstring. The first wines from the TRUSS estate are now available for rent.
