Olivia Allen, a Maryland-based mother, has her 15-month-old son, Henry, involved in daily chores and activities such as laundry, dishwashing, and cleaning. Henry, who helps his mom as much as possible, also helps develop his cognitive and motor skills. Allen shared a video of Henry helping with dinner with her, which has received over 1.5 million views. She believes that inclusion in these activities fosters confidence and independence for children and allows them to safely explore the world around them.
