The Philadelphia Eagles have reportedly traded for veteran receiver Dontayvion Wicks with the Green Bay Packers in exchange for a one-year, $12.5 million extension. This move comes as AJ Brown's future with the Eagles is uncertain. Wicks, who was a fifth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, was more productive during his first two seasons with the Packers, catching 108 of 180 targets for 1,328 yards and 11 touchdowns and averaging 12.3 yards per catch. The Eagles are also sending the Packers the 2026 fifth and 2027 sixth-round picks previously received from the Atlanta Falcons. This trade could be significant if the Eagles decide to deal A.J. Brown, who could potentially be dealt after June 1, as that would lessen Philadelphia's salary cap burden.
