A man is in custody after his wife was fatally shot in the 600th Street of Southwestern Parkway in the Shawnee neighborhood. The victim was taken to UofL Hospital and died of injuries sustained in the abdomen. A witness told police that the incident occurred during an argument between the couple. The suspect, 57, is charged with domestic violence and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, November 24.
