Reunited '90s rock band Sugar completed a three-night reunion run at New York's Webster Hall on May 4, with surprise guests including Drive-By Truckers' Patterson Hood, the Hold Steady's Craig Finn and Mould's Jason Narducy. The band had previously released two albums and toured regularly before disbanding in 1995. Despite its short tenure during the height of grunge, Sugar provided Bob Mould with a crucial bridge back into playing in a rock band after spending years recording and performing solo. The group announced its reunion last October with the first of two new songs and plans to stage residencies in New York and London.
