The Met Gala, fashion's biggest night, is usually kept largely exclusive to A-listers at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. However, Vogue has allowed a few cameras inside the event to capture photos, allowing guests to browse the new exhibition "Costume Art" before it debuts to the public on May 10. Once inside, attendees can also have a chance to gossip and have a drink with fellow industry creatives. The event also features a surprise musical performance by Grammy winner Sabrina Carpenter, who performed "Landslide" with Stevie Nicks. The decor inside the museum was inspired by the design of Northern Italian gardens and a three-course meal was served to celebrity guests. The dress code for the 2026 Met Gala was "Fashion Is Art," while this year’s exhibition, “CostumeArt," examined the centrality of the dressed body throughout time and culture.
