This follows Kraft's criticism of the project during his losing mayoral campaign. The Revolution's support comes as the Supreme Judicial Court is set to hear arguments in a community lawsuit against the city's plan to rebuild White Stadium for a professional women's soccer team. If the court rules in favor of the plaintiffs’ argument that the proposed use for Franklin Park’s White Stadium would unconstitutionally privatize public parkland, it could have far-reaching implications for other public-privat plans such as a new soccer stadium for the Revs in Everett.
