A person has tested positive for measles after visiting a grocery store in Gresham, Multnomah County, which was identified as an exposure site earlier in the month. This is the county's first confirmed measles case of the year, bringing the statewide case count to at least 11. The store's high ceilings and high turnover rate also significantly reduce risk, according to Dr. Richard Bruno, county health officer. So far, no other cases are linked to the store. The person with the new case was only partially vaccinated. The Oregon Health Authority announced a measles outbreak in mid-February involving at least three linked cases.
