Duxbury’s Delby Lemieux makes major change in hopes of NFL draft call

Delby Lemieux, a 6-foot-4 and 305 pounds Duxbury native, has made a significant change to his professional football career, becoming a center. Despite not having the required size to play left tackle, Lemieix was seen as a valuable asset by NFL evaluators due to his athleticism and high football acumen. He had previously played as a left tackle at Dartmouth College and was named first team All-Ivy League and an Associated Press honorable mention All-American. Despite this, he believes he has a realistic shot at the NFL after his junior season at Dartmouth. Despite his transition, both Lemieaux and Dartmouth head coach Sammy McCorkle have expressed confidence in his ability to play center.
