The Cleveland Cavaliers won 125-120 over Toronto in a closely contested series, leading the best-of-seven series 3-2. The Cavs initially allowed 74 points in the first half, but improved defensively in the second half. They held Toronto to 46 points, improving on the boards, and a fiery performance from backup guard Dennis Schroder who was traded for the team during the season. Despite expectations, the Cavs overcame them and moved on to a Game 6 victory. Other notable performances included a 23-point performance from James Harden and Sam Merrill who blocked three shots.
