‘Watson’ Starring Morris Chestunt Canceled At CBS After 2 Seasons, ‘DMV’ Also Axed

CBS has cancelled the mystery drama series Watson and the comedy series DMV after only one season. The cancellation comes as CBS increases its schedule for the 2026-27 period. Watson's season finale will air on May 3, while DMV's will be on May 11. The cancellations were not surprising as the shows were not renewed when CBS made its bulk of its renewals. Both shows were produced by CBS Studios and had to compete against existing shows like Marshals and CIA.
