Man, 42, sentenced to 9-years for stalking, racist attacks in Manhattan

Skiboky Stora, a political gadfly convicted of a series of racist attacks, including punching TikTok influencer Halley Kate McGookin in the face, has been sentenced to 9 years in state prison. Stora was convicted in February of assault, stalking, aggravated harassment and attempted assault, all counts of hate crimes. The attacks were inspired by Stora's racism against white people, hatred of women or antisemitism. He was charged in May 2024 for four separate attacks. The first attack occurred on Sept. 20, 2023, when Stora elbowed a 17-year-old white student and a 37-year old fair-skinned woman.
