Mikayla Kloth, 27, has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide for a deadly stabbing at an apartment in Lac La Belle. The crime occurred on April 24 at Kloth's apartment and resulted in the death of the victim, who later died at a hospital. During an interview with police, Kloth stated she did not want the victim to come over for dinner that night and was upset that he was pushing her buttons. The victim had been bitten in the thumb by Kloth a week prior to the stabbing. Kloth admitted to stabbing the victim and took full responsibility for the crime. Her preliminary hearing is set for May 29.
