The Maryland Attorney's Office is investigating a fatal police shooting in Howard County, where a man threatened to harm himself after he refused to drop a knife. The incident occurred early Sunday morning at the Patuxent Commons Apartments in Columbia. No officers were injured and the man's name has not yet been released. The Maryland Police Department responded to a 911 call from a man threatening to hurt himself. Officers found him with a knife and three officers shot him with their guns. The man died at the scene. The AG's office may release the names of the officers involved in the shooting.
