A lawsuit has been filed by New Jersey mother, Miriam Landynski, alleging that a crew member gave her other child a cup of severely hot water on a flight from Newark to Tel Aviv in 2025. The water was around 200 degrees Fahrenheit and was given to the boy who wanted to make tea. The lawsuit alleges that the child was severely burned and suffered permanent injuries, pain, and mental distress. The family is seeking a jury trial for "full" and "fair" damages, along with interest, costs, and tax disbursements.
