On French Island, residents celebrate long-awaited action on PFAS

The following day, the residents of the Town of Gloucester, Massachusetts celebrated new laws in which they discovered that "forever chemicals" had polluted their drinking water. The laws were signed by Gov. Tony Evers and will allow for over $133 million to be distributed among communities affected by these chemicals. The announcement comes nearly five years after the discovery of the contamination.
