Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs has launched a new government efficiency initiative, the Arizona Capacity and Efficiency Initiative (ACE), which aims to identify approximately $100 million in wasteful spending over the next three years. The initiative will use artificial intelligence to streamline state government operations and increase workforce productivity. The director of ACE, Amy Edward Holmes, stated that the initiative will not be compared to DOGE's effort to cut federal government spending and does not anticipate job losses. The ACE is tasked with three main priorities: Strengthen with Technology, Adopt AI and emerging technologies to optimize services and increase productivity.
