Sugar, the first animal ever inducted into the Surfers’ Hall of Fame, has been diagnosed with cancer. Her 16-year-old owner, Ryan Rustan, announced the diagnosis on Instagram. Sugar, known for her expert surfing skills, holds 19 titles and is a five-time World Dog Surf Champion. He recently underwent surgery to remove her tumor. A GoFundMe page has been established to cover her medical expenses and the remainder of her treatment.
