Wix won the award for building the exact same website on both platforms within an hour. SquaresSpace is better suited for portfolios or creative sites, while Wix is a good option for e-commerce. The author tested Wix's website for a roofing service company based in Cape Town, South Africa. He found that Wix offers more tools and creative freedom than Squares, with Wix offering pre-built design templates and an AI generator. However, the author noted that Squares' content was thinner and lacked detailed information about its USPs.
