Qatar's Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, has stated that the country's relations with Iran have been severely damaged following weeks of attacks in the Gulf. Al Thanani called on Iran to cease the attacks immediately and for all parties involved in the conflict. The country has maintained diplomatic ties with Iran for decades and has also shared access to the world's largest gas field.
