Amazon's new James Bond movie is "moving along quite nicely," says screenwriter

Screenwriter Steven Knight has stated that progress is moving along on Amazon's upcoming James Bond movie. The film was purchased by longtime Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli for $20 million, which was initially thought to be a significant amount. Denis Villeneuve, Amy Pascal and David Heyman have been chosen to direct the film. The untitled movie is expected to be released in 2028.
