The Poetry Camera, a camera that makes AI poems instead of photos, is the result of a collaboration between Kelin Carolyn Zhang, an ex-Twitter designer, and Ryan Mather, a former Googler, who brought the concept to life through painstaking iteration. The device, which only works when connected to a Wi-Fi network, can create an AI-generated poem inspired by the scene, printed on thermal receipt paper. However, after printing dozens of poems, the author found it frustrating and frustrating. The Poetry Cat's creators shared their vision for the product, taking it from a wacky idea to a functional product. The second round of cameras went on sale for half its original price: $349 rather than $699.
